Please note - in order to see Jeff in your instance you need to switch it on.

Here’s how to enable Jeff AI in your instance:

  1. Complete the necessary paperwork with your Customer Success Manager.
  2. IriusRisk will handle the configuration on your tenant.
  3. Once that’s done, log in and navigate to the Settings (cog icon in the top-right corner), select Features, then click 'Enable Jeff AI in your instance'.

Getting started with Jeff

When you create a Project, choose ‘Model with AI’ - this can only be done if you have requested access from your Customer Success Manager as Jeff will be turned on for your instance.

You will then see three use cases as examples to try out. You can also paste in your own code to generate the first draft of the threat model:

Paste in your code - this example is code for a banking app. The first result lists in bullet points all the necessary components, then the first diagram looks like the below.

At this point you can iterate by changing the components if you wish by providing feedback on what you want to change. Alternatively, you can tell Jeff to proceed with matching these components with IriusRisk components.

This is how the diagram/ components are updated once they match with IriusRisk components. Give Jeff any final feedback, or again ask it to proceed.

At this point, Jeff is communicating with IriusRisk, to generate a project within our tool. Once this is done, it will show you a preview of the diagram, and then you can click the link to open it directly in IriusRisk. This is of course complete with threats and countermeasures.

Here it is once you open it in your instance:

Note: Once the diagram is created and the chat functionality is closed your data is not stored by Jeff.
