Product Release 4.51

Overview

This release details many new features and improvements, including a brand new Security Content Hub, and editable issue tracker profiles.

Take a look at the full information below, or go directly to the Release Notes here.

Editable issue tracker profiles (Beta)

This combines project-level customization with globally managed connection settings for a scalable, secure approach.

Previously, Jira and Rally profiles were locked at a global level, limiting project-level flexibility, while custom profiles lacked central governance. Now teams can tailor issue tracker behaviour per project while maintaining secure, centrally managed connections. Changes to connection settings automatically apply across all projects, ensuring consistency and control.

New Security Content Hub

A central command center with a guided five-step setup that personalizes, installs, and manages security libraries in one streamlined experience.

Previously, setting up and managing security libraries could feel fragmented and time-consuming, especially for new users. Now a single, guided hub to manage and maintain the security libraries that power threat modeling. Faster onboarding with personalized, always up-to-date content tailored to each organisation.

Smaller improvements

Clearer hover details for Project Component

When selecting Project Components from the diagram palette, the hover popover now clearly identifies them as Project Components, displays their description, and includes a Source Project section with the project name. This brings Project Components in line with regular components, removes uncertainty about their origin, and eliminates the need to place them in the diagram just to identify their source.

Clearer action icons with tool tips

We’ve reviewed and improved action icons across the UI and added informative tooltips on hover, so you no longer have to guess what each action does and can navigate the platform with greater confidence.

New components

A large selection this release including Microsoft Azure, network, financial services, Kubernetes, hardware, functional, service-side, operating system, generic and datastore components.
