IriusRisk at Lorca Live 2020

As members of the 4th cohort at Lorca, we are pleased to announce our participation on the week-long event at Lorca Live (14-18 September), which “will unite the ecosystem to explore the big issues of our day, from battling disinformation and becoming better digital citizens to ensuring the growth of early-stage cyber startups isn’t stunted and how COVID-19 is changing the security agenda for CISOs.”

LORCA Live will take place both offline with thought leadership content, debates and podcasts featuring exclusive insights from cybersecurity leaders and innovators.

Register now to enjoy a host of activities and talks with themes for this event which include:

  • Emerging challenges: As our lives become increasingly connected, what are the emerging cyber risks faced by society and industry? And how ready is our innovation ecosystem to meet those challenges?
  • The new risk landscape: How has the global pandemic changed the cyber risk landscape for individuals, businesses and governments? And how is rapid digital transformation creating new challenges and opportunities, or accelerating existing trends?
  • Growing UK cyber: How can we make sure the UK’s cyber ecosystem continues to grow and mature? How can we make sure early-stage startups get the funding and support they need, commercialise academic research, connect cyber hubs across the UK and produce more scaleups with a global reach?
  • Education and skills: Our cyber sector has the potential to create jobs and fuel our country’s economic recovery, but how can we create a steady pipeline of skilled talent? And how can we make sure our sector is diverse and inclusive to people from a range of backgrounds?
  • Going global: Digital threats are borderless, so how can we encourage secure collaboration and make sure the UK continues to be a prominent global cyber hub? As the world becomes less enamoured with globalisation, how can we make sure cross-border cyber collaboration bucks this trend?
